I am contemplating a way to reduce the “dragging and dropping” time I spend moving items out of my inbox and into personal folders. I learned about this technique at Dr. Randy Pausch’s web site at CMU. His Time Management lecture discusses how he manages email. He keep all in and all out message in two sperate files (new message get appended to the end of the file). Whenever you need to find something, use the search tools (Google Desktop, X1, etc) to find your message. Problem solved! Wait a minute…what about the size constraints with outlook…maybe someone out there has a workaround for this?
