Freeing the mind with exercise is therapeutic – but strangely enough, working while moderately exercising puts my mind in a highly responsive mode that facilitates clear/deep thinking. Also my treadmill workouts have gone from ~25-35 mins to ~45 – 60 mins. The time just flys by, which is fantastic for the body ! I highly recommend trying this!

It’s really awesome and i was kind of exited wanting to have that kind of a desk. It’s kinda fun doing it at one time. Thanks a lot posting and giving an idea.

We even have an online office walkers community over at http://officewalkers.ning.com/ for all related discussions on the topic of office walking :P

Our humor is alive and well here at the David Allen Company. We found your comments to lean toward mean spirited, so we did not publish them.

One of our favorite ways to stay productive during the work day is to take a break to get exercise – but I guess if you don’t need to take a break, you are just that much more productive, right?

Comments deleted. Understandable and no hard feelings. To be expected really.

But, sorry to inconvenience you again by asking, but I’m curious. Have you had a humour bypass?

Pretty cool!

I’m hoping to rig one up soon.

Even walking slowly at about 2 mph (or maybe it was less) was enough for weight loss and stress reduction. It looks more comfortable than fidgeting or crossing/uncrossing the legs.

I actually use a kybounder (http://www.kybun.ch/) which is a mat that supports you while you stand. You get to work the postural muscles and it keeps you awake. I have knee problems, so it means I can break up the day and do helpful exercise even though I’m stuck to a desk.
