Can I call you Josh?

Nah, I’m sure your technical consultant is quite well-informed. This is a pretty recent development in the Apple World.

That is good news. My technical consult must not have had all of the information correct when he told me about apple discontinuing the 10″ version.

And most likely, it will not have integrated features with any of the Office products — i.e. – OneNote

Actually, good news – Apple will be releasing both versions of the iPad (10″ and 7″) to accommodate both consumer demographics.

The 10″ will cost approx the same price range as it does now. The 7″ will be notably cheaper.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but iPad is going away from 10in. It seems the market demands a smaller screen for portabilty. I’m in the same boat as you. I want a large format screen that is more like a standard notebook but apparently the market is not on the same page, pun intended.

The BlackPad (now Playbook) has actually convinced me to get a Blackberry. I really like the fact that it can be used wifi or tethered to a Blackberry. Therefore, no additional cell bill/dataplan. But the 7-inch screen is a disappointment. I’m inclined to wait until they have a model closer to the iPad’s 10-inch screen. Or a very low price for the 7-inch version.

Especially since the Play Book will use bluetooth to connect to my blackberry phone and I will not have to have another data plan. Likewise, sharing applications across multiple platforms has a seamless quality to me.

I use Pocket Informant on iPhone. This includes Toodledo.
