I guess it’s because I’m trying to micromanage my level of control over my life (manage driving the car versus naturally driving the car.) I will try David’s advice of checking the system more frequently to maintain control. I have an unnecessary sense of urgency about everything I am doing as if the car is going to careen off a cliff. I have never been this productive before and there is an elevated sense of rush with checking massive amounts off my to do list and even project lists, but I can’t sustain this level of energy for long. I need to find my relaxed sense of control. I’m glad David put the advice to “check the system more”. That seems like it would be very grounding. I always feel very relaxed going over my calendar and to do lists.

– Working with GTD till you get a feel of it.( Learning to drive a car.)

– Learning from GTD and fine tuning your system of working.

– Once it becomes trust worthy, trusting it.
