Request for Translation Administrator Rights: Bonnjalal00
[edit]Hello, I want to requeste translation administrator rights on Commons.
I currently hold this right on Meta-Wiki and am very familiar with the translation extension and the responsibilities that come with it.
I require these rights to support several upcoming and ongoing initiatives.
Wiki Loves Ramadan 2026: As the Technical & Operations Coordinator for the global team, I am responsible for setting up and managing campaign pages. Many of these pages (such as central landing pages and upload instructions) are hosted on Commons and need to be prepared for a global audience in multiple languages.
Wikimedia Morocco: As a member of the Wikimedia Morocco User Group, We frequently host files and project descriptions here on Commons that require localization to reach our local community effectively. Currently, we lack an active, easily reachable translation admin for our specific needs.
Having these rights on Commons will allow me to streamline our workflows for both the global campaign and our local user group, ensuring that content is accessible. Bonnjalal00 (talk) 19:19, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
